What to Expect on the Trail
You start with a descent from the parking lot till the Rabaçal Nature Spot Cafe. From there you follow the trail to the impressive Risco Waterfall.
Safety
Paths are wide, no big cliffs so pretty safe for Madeiran standards.
Parking & Logistics
The levada has the same starting point as the 25 Fontes hike. So the parking lot is really packed, so arrive early (before 9AM). When you return you can enjoy a coffee and cake in the Rabaçal Nature Spot Cafe. If kids are tired, from there you can take a shuttle back to the parking. Book your slot via this link.
What to Pack for This Hike
