PR22 – Vereda do Chão dos Louros
This hike is one of the few in Madeira in circular shape. It’s great for families as it’s not too long, has a lot of shade and many nice streams and small waterfalls.

What to Expect on the Trail
The trail goes through the Laurissilva forrest so it has a lot of shade. In the forrest you’ll pass many streams where kids can play around.

Paths are wide and no cliffs, so very safe.
