What to Expect on the Trail
The trail start at the Funchal Ecological Park at an altitude of about 1100 meters and descends to the town of Monte to about 550 meters. Along the way you will have some magnificent views over Funchal (if not clouded of course ;))
Safety
Paths are wide but many stairs, so can be slippery after rain.
